UNIQLO SS24 Arigato Festival

A Vibe Called Tech worked with UNIQLO to celebrate their 40th anniversary during the SS24 Arigato Festival, a bi-annual global festival of gratitude. A dedicated moment to thank their customers and local communities.

Commissioned by A Vibe Called Tech in partnership with UNIQLO Europe both Halina Edwards and Paboy Bojang (Casa by Paboy) have created new pieces using fabric scraps and items from UNIQLO that cannot be reused or upcycled. Each artwork is inspired by the notion of gratitude and giving thanks.

The commissions also include textiles created by customers and friends of the brand in workshops hosted by the artists in their local RE.UNIQLO Studios

Artworks were installed in the UNIQLO Regent Street Store in London and at UNIQLO Cordusio Courtyard in Milan for the duration of the festival (May 23 - June 2) before being donated to charities of the artist’s choice.
